Needless to say, it was an incredible experience and honor to get to know one of the world’s most influential graphic artists.

Now in its fifth year, The Stand Up for the Lake stand up paddle festival has become one of the premier summer events on Burlington Vermont’s beautiful Lake Champlain. The highlight of the event was the six mile Elite Race sanctioned by the WPA (World Paddling Association).

For the concept, I wanted to combine classic surf design with the twist of making it uniquely “Vermont”. This was one of the most rewarding projects of the year and for the newly formed JH/DSGN. When the stars align and I am able to combine design with a subject that I am truly passionate about, I am at my very best.

The Sustainable Communities Leadership Academy (SCLA) builds the capacity of communities – cities, towns, counties, metropolitan regions and rural areas – to advance, accelerate and scale-up local solutions to the global challenges of climate protection and sustainable development.

The project goal was to position SCLA as the go-to information hub and service provider for local climate and energy practitioners.

The website organized the institution’s vast library of tools and resources with a user-friendly and intuitive interface design.

Spectrum helps teenagers, young adults, people with a history of violence, and their families turn their lives around.

The focus of the new website was to provide a content-rich, rebranded online presence geared toward expressing the organizations mission and stories to potential donors.
